When I watch FOOTBALL!!!!!!
I love Football… everything about it – I love it.
And when I watch it, I really am a different person. The quiet person that I generally am, disappears.
And in its place is a screaming maniac on the edge of my seat.
I am a competitive person, but nothing gets me more competitive than football. I am screaming, fist pumping, pacing back and forth, going crazy as I watch football. Oh and there is also a lot of trash talking. And please, don’t talk to me when the team I want to win, loses. It is not a pretty sight. 
I am a die hard Washington Redskins fan. Raised in the DC area – how could I not be? Unfortunately they have had more downs than I could care for – but they are my team. I am all about the NFC. And don’t get me started on my hatred for the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. CAN’T STAND THOSE TWO TEAMS! AT ALL! I tolerate the New York Giants if only because my dad grew up in that area – so I like the Giants only for my dad.
I will cheer for any team that goes up against the Cowboys or the Eagles – just because I want those two teams to lose.
As for the AFC -I dislike pretty much any team except the Indianapolis Colts. Don’t get me started on the New England Patriots, the Pittsburg Steelers, the San Diego Chargers and… okay pretty much any team in the AFC.
Right now at this time is the NFL Playoffs leading up to the Superbowl. This past weekend has been all about football.
Yesterday was the Cardinals vs. the Saints (Saints winning) and Ravens vs. the Colts (Colts winning). Both games were good and I’m pretty happy with both outcomes.
Today however, the big game is the Vikings vs. the Cowobys – while I really could care less about the Vikings and Farve (tired of him coming out of retirement) – I want them to win so bad and I want them to CRUSH the Cowboys. I would HATE it if the Cowboys somehow made it in to the Superbowl. Although it would be awesome to see the Colts make it to the Superbowl and beat the crap out of the Cowboys… but still, I’d rather the Cowboys not make it all all.
Unfortunately today I’m not watching with my dad… my football watching buddy. We share our hatred for the Cowboys. But talking to him already today – I know we are screaming at the TV together – just different locations.
Okay – enough typing and giving up my precious time so I can give my undivided attention to the rest of the game. Right now Minnesota is leading 7-3.
BOOOOO Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for good measure – I’m cheering for the NY Jets for today’s later game if only because I don’t like Norv Turner the head coach for the San Diego Chargers (he used to be the coach for the Redskins).
