Wow – as I was writing out this list – I realized I had a lot of pets!!! Dogs, cats, fish, a horse, etc…
So – here goes -
List Pets You’ve Had And Their Names
I’ll list these pets to in order of which I had them…
- Rachael – a rabbit – I don’t know why, but when I was 4 years-old, I loved the name Rachael, thus I named my bunny Rachael.
- Dude – A Bichon Frise – my sisters and I named him Dude – because we watched the Simpsons and liked it when Bart said “DUDE!” all the time. But somehow we called him Dudes… hahaha, we were weird kids.
- Petunia – a white Jack Russel Terrier – that my mom saved. Petunia (we thought was the ugliest name) was just a puppy and the most rambunctious dog ever – but then again, she was a Jack Russel Terrier.
- Fluffy – A white cat that we had… she was long haired – and her hair was fluffy… thus Fluffy was her name.
- Natasha (Tasha) the First – was a Siberian Husky. She was the first big dog we had… best dog ever.
- Natasha (Tasha) the Second – we got her a year after Tasha (the First) passed away. We gave my brother the privilege of naming this new dog -and since he was 4 years-old at the time, he wanted to stick with Tasha. So… Tasha it was! She passed away 2 years ago.
She was an awesome dog too. - Emmalie – 1/2 Husky and 1/2 German Shepherd – don’t ask why we name HIM Emmalie – but we did – and she was a great dog. Beautiful too.
- Simba – a beautiful cat – he looked just like Simba from the Lion King… a beautiful orange color. I took care of him from when he was just 8 weeks old.
- Nala – we got a year after Simba, was a cat just like Simba, but a lighter color, just like Nala from the Lion King. I got her when she was just a few weeks old.
- Timone – another cat – and we named him Timone because we wanted to keep the Lion King theme going.
- Pumba – another cat – we also got him at the same time as Timone – and again, Lion King theme keeps going…
- Dancer - a horse – she wasn’t really my horse in a way because she had a different owner – but for 3 years I took care of him, rode him, fed him… he was housed at our farm that I grew up on.
- Mocha – A German Shepherd – was my first dog ever that I had on my own away from my family. I got Mocha when she was just 12 weeks old – and she was basically an all black German Shepherd with just a touch of tan… and I named her Mocha because that is when I was addicted to coffee – and she just had the coloring of coffee! She was an amazing dog. I unfortunately had to put her down when she was only 2 years old because she got cancer.
Worst day of my life.
So – 13 pets in all!!!! Crazy!!! And I didn’t even list out my fish! Hahahah… and I didn’t list out the other family dog right now – his name is Moose and he’s a Fox Terrier – I don’t really consider him my dog because my parents got him when I moved out of the house. He’s a good dog though… annoying, but a good dog.
And for those of you who don’t know – my family and I had Tasha (2), Simba, Nala, Timone, Pumba, Dancer, and Emmalie – all at one time. 7 pets at once! For 5 years I lived on a farm (I miss it) and we had enough land and room to have that many pets. BTW – I didn’t even list all the puppies that we had for 12 weeks at a time because Tasha had TWO pregnancies – with about 8 puppies in each birth! We would have kept them all – but we gave most away to friends.
So – there is my list of pets! I love animals… next on my list to own… AN ELEPHANT! Hahaha, just kidding (a little bit)! I do wish I could have a dog right now!
